About the client
Doritos is one of the world’s most recognized chip brands, owned by the PepsiCo conglomerate. The brand is well-known for its bold, high-energy marketing campaigns, primarily targeting young consumers.
Doritos products stand out not only for their intense, well-loved flavors but also for their dynamic, youthful image.
What challenges was the client facing?
The client needed display stands that combined modern design, brand consistency, stability, and durability. Having previously used cardboard displays, they found them lacking in durability and long-term aesthetics. Doritos sought a more robust alternative that would align with its bold brand identity.
What did we create for Doritos?
We developed an eco-friendly plywood display stand that met all of the client’s criteria. The modern design, inspired by the signature triangular shape of Doritos chips, proved to be an excellent fit.
The stand featured a cut-out Doritos logo and space for interchangeable promotional graphics. In addition to its striking aesthetics, the display was stable, durable, and visually appealing.
How did we achieve this?
Together with Doritos, we conducted an in-depth analysis of their expectations and requirements. The primary objective was to create a display that combined durability, ease of use, and strong visual impact.
From these discussions, we designed a multi-level stand with triangular accents, allowing for an engaging and dynamic product display.
Before moving to full-scale production, we created and tested prototypes to ensure ergonomic design, stability, ease of assembly, and optimal product presentation.
We then completed the full order, finishing the stands in red and black matte paint to reflect the brand’s signature colors. Finally, we delivered the finished displays to designated retail locations, promotional events, and marketing activities.
What was the outcome of our collaboration with Doritos?
The final Doritos display stands exceeded expectations. The dynamic design, featuring the iconic triangle accent, effectively captured customer attention and reinforced brand identity within the retail space.
Thanks to improved aesthetics and greater durability compared to cardboard alternatives, the new stands enhanced brand perception and created a stronger presence at points of sale.
