About the client

Haribo is a globally recognized brand and a leader in the production of gummy candies and other sweets. Their products are not only loved by children, but also appreciated by adults.

The brand is famous for its iconic bear logo and has a history spanning over 100 years. Originating in Germany, Haribo first gained popularity with its Goldbären (golden gummy bears), which remain its most recognizable product to this day.

What challenges was the client facing?

Haribo needed new display stands that would match the vibrant and playful nature of its products. While the brand had previously used display stands, they lacked durability and quickly lost their aesthetic appeal, failing to effectively attract customers in stores. Haribo sought a solution that would combine long-lasting stability with an eye-catching, brand-consistent design.

What did we create for Haribo?

We designed and manufactured a plywood display stand that fully met the brand’s requirements. The stand was crafted with high-quality materials, ensuring both durability and stability. We incorporated well-known Haribo graphic elements into the design, shaping the structure to resemble the brand’s signature gummy bears. To enhance visual appeal, we used bright, cheerful colours that aligned with Haribo’s identity.

How did we achieve this?

As with every project, we started with a comprehensive analysis of the client’s expectations. Together with Haribo, we identified key stand attributes: functionality, durability, ease of transport, and a visually engaging design consistent with the brand’s playful image.

Based on these insights, we developed a design featuring a unique shape and vibrant color scheme, including dedicated spaces for branding and product displays.

After approval, we created prototypes and conducted tests to ensure the stand met the required standards of durability, convenience, and ease of assembly. Once these tests were successfully completed, we moved into mass production, paying close attention to finishing quality and specification accuracy.

The finished stands were delivered to designated retail locations across Poland and several European countries.

What was the outcome of our collaboration with Haribo?

The Haribo display stands exceeded expectations in every aspect. Their colorful, engaging design became a standout feature in stores, capturing the attention of both children and adults. The well-planned layout allowed for an attractive and organized presentation of various Haribo products.

Beyond their aesthetic appeal, the new stands had a tangible business impact: within the first month, sales of Haribo products increased by 30% at locations where they were introduced. The improved display also strengthened the brand’s presence in retail spaces.

Haribo was highly satisfied with the results and expressed interest in continued collaboration, including seasonal campaigns for events such as Christmas.
