About the client

Nutella is the world leader in the nut cream category, owned by the Ferrero Group. Recognized and loved globally, the brand enjoys high customer trust.

Nutella is synonymous with high quality, offering excellent taste and a delightful experience. The brand places great emphasis on the attractive presentation of its products at points of sale, reinforcing their unique and well-liked character.

What challenges was the client facing?

The client sought display stands that would not only reflect Nutella’s iconic and recognizable branding but also be more eco-friendly and durable than the existing models.

They needed a solution that would attract customer attention, strengthen brand recognition, and highlight their commitment to environmental responsibility.

What did we create for Nutella?

To meet Nutella’s needs, we designed a plywood display stand that seamlessly blended functionality with the brand’s distinct aesthetics. We incorporated the recognizable shape of a Nutella jar into the design, adding warm, natural wood tones. Additionally, we carved out space for graphic elements in the brand’s signature colors: white, red, and brown.

How did we achieve this?

Our collaboration with Nutella began with in-depth discussions about their needs and expectations. Key factors included the stand’s attractiveness, ergonomic design, and ease of transport. The client required a display that was both functional and aligned with their brand identity.

Based on these insights, we created a visualization featuring designated spaces for an impactful display of jars in various sizes, as well as a carved Nutella logo. The design emphasized a natural wood finish that complemented the brand’s image.

After approval, we produced prototypes to test durability and strength. Upon successful testing, we proceeded with full-scale production using certified plywood. The completed stands were delivered to designated outlets in Poland and select European countries.

What was the outcome of our collaboration with Nutella?

The eco-friendly plywood display stands received positive feedback from both Nutella’s sales teams and their customers. The materials and design perfectly matched the brand’s values, reinforcing its ability to blend aesthetics with environmental responsibility.

The project successfully strengthened Nutella’s leadership in sustainable design. Additionally, the visually appealing stands became not just functional displays but also decorative elements at points of sale.
